Join the cast of the National Theatre of Morpeth as we play out the stories of amazing local saints who fought battles, created stunning music and artwork... and faced just the same problems as we do. Thrills! Spills! Fight the battle of Heavenfield! Speak with the voice of a Northumbrian King! Show those old wrinklies that you know what's really important!

We need local heroes age 5-11 to join their journey across the North-East, righting wrongs and occasionally wondering what God might want us to do next. Book now! Bring your drama skills (especially your evil laugh)! And whatever you do... keep an eye on the tide...

Local Heroes! is our children's club for 5-11s that will run from 2pm until 5pm and uses real tales from local Christian history to explore how some of the difficulties of the young Christian life can be faced. The club uses a mix of storytelling, games, songs and artwork to help young people respond to these issues in a variety of creative ways.
